Why Am I Scared Of Birds?

Here are some of the more common reasons why people develop a fear of birds:

  • Maybe you saw a documentary or news item on tv or radio about a bird attacking a human being
  • You might have a parent, family member or friend who has this fear and perhaps you picked it up from them
  • Perhaps a bird might have flown too close to your head and gave you a fright sometime in the past
  • You might be genetically predisposed to being anxious about everything and birds might be one of many things that scare you
