Do You Suffer From Blood Pressure?

Hi, my name is Paul Hunter. If you’ve been searching for something to help with your blood pressure problem, then you’ve come to the right page.
I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist, CBT Practitioner and Life Coach. For the past fifteen years I have been helping people with the psychological aspects of their health issues.
If you have a blood pressure problem, or you suspect you may have one, here are the steps you should take:
- Doctor – Make an appointment with your doctor. He or she will probably suggest a wearing a 24 hour monitor so that they can fully understand what’s happening.
- Medication – Depending on the severity of the problem, your doctor may suggest certain types of medication to regulate your blood pressure.
- Diet – You may be asked to modify your diet depending on whether certain types of food are making the problem worse
- Lifestyle – Depending on the nature of the problem, your doctor may suggest some form of relaxation therapy. (That’s where I come in!)

Is Hypnosis Good For High Or Low Blood Pressure?

When you go into hypnosis, your body naturally relaxes. As your body relaxes, your blood pressure lowers. This is why hypnosis is a very good fit for those who suffer with high blood pressure.
As regards low blood pressure, we have to be a little more careful as going into hypnosis can prompt a fainting episode. With this, fainting is a result of your blood pressure going a little too low.
However, light hypnosis can alleviate anxiety symptoms in people with low pressure so it can still be useful.
As with any complementary therapy, hypnosis should be used alongside proper medical care and never used as a replacement.
